Lent Course

On the night he was betrayed, Jesus kneels in darkness in the Garden of Gethsemane. Though he pleads with his disciples, “Stay here with me … Watch and pray,” they all fall asleep, leaving him alone in his hour of deepest suffering.

This year’s resources have been inspired and informed by the 2024 Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent book, Tarry Awhile: Wisdom from Black Spirituality for people of faith by Selina Stone.

There will be a 7-week course that everyone can join in with running over Lent.  The Theme will be introduced during services on Ash Wednesday and Conclude on Maundy Thursday Service.

These sessions will be led within Home Groups.  If you are not a member of a home group and would like to join, then please contact us and we can introduce you to one of our lovely leaders.

If you would prefer to use the resource individually, booklets are available.
