A Village Church at the Heart of the Community

Whalton Church offers you a warm welcome!  We are a village church with strong links to the wider community and school.

Our Story

At Whalton you will always be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome by our team and congregation.  The church building is an integral part of community and village life and plays host to regular Sunday services as well as All Age Worship services in collaboration with our local school.  The church is open daily from 10am till 4pm for quiet prayer and contemplation or to look at some of the ancient architecture and the famous 'Whalton Christ' Mosaic.
