Mitford
Wellbeing Cafe
Looking for a friendly place to meet people, share memories, and enjoy good company? The Mitford Wellbeing Café offers a warm and welcoming space for everyone in our community every Monday from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, including Bank Holidays.

What we are about
The café was created to help reduce social isolation and provide an inclusive environment where people can connect with others, make new friendships, and enjoy meaningful conversations. It is also a safe and supportive space for those living with dementia, while offering a valuable opportunity for carers to enjoy some welcome respite and companionship.

What we do
Each week follows a different theme, encouraging guests to share their own memories, experiences, and stories. These conversations often spark laughter, friendship, and a wonderful sense of community as people learn from and support one another.

What to Expect
Of course, no café would be complete without refreshments! Visitors can enjoy delicious homemade cake alongside freshly brewed coffee in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. From time to time, we also welcome guest speakers from across the community who share information, experiences, and interests that enrich our weekly gatherings.

How can I get involved?
The Mitford Wellbeing Café is made possible through the support and involvement of members of the wider community, all working together to create a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
Whether you come along regularly or are thinking of visiting for the first time, you will be made very welcome. If you know someone who may benefit from friendship, support, or simply a friendly chat over coffee and cake, please share the details with them and encourage them to join us.
